If you aren't going to the Space Center, stay on board. The other options are Coco Beach or Orlando Theme Parks, both undesirable options with a half-day visit. ...

Meraviglia from NYC very memorable in bad ways

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

There is not much to do on this port other than getting excursion to Orlando area or Kennedy space center. At least ship docked in Carnival terminal 3 which made outside walk accessible. There is a Jetty beach next and about a mile walk to Cove shopping and restaurant area. No bus service to Cocoa beach unless you walk about a mile to local bus stop. I would prefer it stop at Charleston for ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

We rented a car from Avis; they provided a port shuttle to pick up the car. We then went to Twister Airboat Rides and took a 30 minute ride. Our guide stopped and pointed out many alligators and different birds and drove fast for a fun ride. We stopped at Manatee Sanctuary on the way back, which is a nice city park near the Avis drop off. It has broadwalks, trails, a playground, and ponds. Though ...

Having been to Port Canaveral we just decided to take the Disney Bus Transportation to and from the Ticket and Transportation Center. It was a 1 hour ride, we were not going to any parks as the 5 hours there would be wasted waiting on lines. Instead we chose to Resort hop. A 10 min walk to the Polynesian, monorail to The Floridan, walk to the main Magic Kingdom entrance the a walk to the ...

We took the Ron Jon Shuttle to Cocoa Beach, Fl. We were dropped in a parking lot about a mile away from the pier. So a lot of walking. You can rent chairs and umbrellas there. Also only one bar was open on pier and only two stores. The beach is beautiful. ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Port Canaveral has the Kennedy space center which if you can book that it's a really good time. There are also Manatee excursions and other excursions as well. The only one which was lacking was the space Coast highlights and Cocoa Beach tour. you don't really do or see much and it can be drawn out without much activity to keep your interest. If you can, book something a little more engaging and ...
