Great cruise on a lovely ship

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

Turarose
10+ Cruises • Age 75s

This was a very enjoyable cruise on Celebrity Solstice . The ship is older but mostly in excellent shape, Kate was a fun cruise Director, the Alaskan itinerary was as expected, with the highlight being getting so close to Hubbard Glacier. Overall the food was of very good standard both in the buffet and the main dining room. There were only a couple of misses and they were happily fixed by the ...

Last time on Norwegian

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Ronald cruisers
6-10 Cruises • Age 71s

We had trouble from the start, took us till 4:00 pm to get to the ship even though we paid extra for handicap transportation arranged by ncl. The next complaint I have is with the food, mediocre at best even the specialty restaurants. The next thing is I'm in a wheelchair unable to walk so at dinner we get pigeon holed to certain seating. The handicap stateroom was awesome. Twice I was asked to ...

Good Family Experience with Adult Children

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Eclipse

ConstantCruisers
10+ Cruises • Age 66s

Nice clean older ship. Ready for dry dock and update. Furnishings is worn and paint badly needed. Great staff-very friendly and anxious to please. Very average food experience. Good older crowd - lots of “beep beeps”…(I know, we will all luckily be there in time…). Just saying it is an older crowd. Slow pool service. would be nice if they had a few more attendance at the pool instead of one ...

First time cruisers! Alaska via Holland America.

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Westerdam

Tallynot to Alaska
First Time Cruiser • Age 67s

As first-time cruisers we didn't know what to expect. Good news is that Holland America hires great people. Their staff are customer service oriented and try very hard to make you happy! Tyo did a great job on deck 8 as did Thalia in Spa Services. Thalia did a great job on my hair. I got several compliments on it while on-board. My husband had a mani-pedi and said it was the best he's ...

DO NOT RECOMMEND- TERRIBLE SERVICE

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

xchrisramirez
10+ Cruises • Age 24s

To say the least, the service on this cruise ship was horrible. Every bar is a nightmare to get a drink and unorganized. Communication between their own crewmates was horrible with so many workers not knowing where to find things or have correct info often even giving us false information. Unless you could sleep with nonstop alarms and sirens going off in the mornings, noone was still asleep past ...

OK, but...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

FloridaHockeyGuy
6-10 Cruises • Age 69s

Overall, this is a very good cruise. Ports of call is what made us decide on this one. Portugal, Spain, and a spot in Morocco. Although we had a good time, there were a few things that irked us in that it seems like Celebrity is slipping off their game on one hand and taking customers for granted on the other. I assume most large cruise lines are the same these days, basking in having large demand ...

QM2… a Fading Oceanliner

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

markgpearse
10+ Cruises • Age 69s

I have been sailing on the Queen Mary 2 since 2017. This trip was my sixth crossing, my first eastbound. The good… The ship’s Internet service has been upgraded to Starlink and performed great. However, logging into the internet and accessing MyVoyage is cumbersome. The ships personnel while overworked and stressed are generally very polite and helpful. The bad… Service in Britannia was ...

It's October 2023, a friend comes to the group inbox "guys guys we gotta do a cruise". I instantly think ok I'm interested, I've never been on a cruise and I'd like to try. I eagerly ask "ohh what ship is it?" With the response "oh Splendor! It's so good". Instantly I'm on alert. I've heard alot of odd things about Carnival but I kept an open mind & after a good amount of research I kinda knew ...

Mainly a Corridor Ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

Lee-Jane
10+ Cruises • Age 74s

The embarkation went well better than getting out . I find this Ship beautiful but hard to find places you need to go . Full of stairways and corridors to get to where you want to go. After 3 days you finally get their idea. The food was good and the attention given to people was very nice. The TA is not for me to long without seeing anything else. The weather was nice the first and last day ...

Book with caution!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

PTasadtrip123
6-10 Cruises • Age 67s

Food poisoning on the very first night. AVOID the Hola Tacos! Cabin walls & ceiling are thin. People stomping in the halls. Kids running & jumping in cabins. Could hear people in the cabins talking. Room steward was a joke. Didnt get clean towels most days. Room had not been vacuumed upon our arrival. It was 3 days later it was finally done but only the 1 time for the whole 7 days. He didnt ...
