I have been hugely disappointed with every aspect of this trip. Sadly we booked a cheaper room which I believe should be used for storage instead of passengers. Shame on Oceania for selling this space to anyone. We had no luck trying to change rooms and have been treated poorly ever since. I considered cutting the trip short to which the gentleman at reception said “he would be happy to ...
Our recent Oceania cruise through Southeast Asia was significantly marred by several critical issues. Firstly, the ship's recent dry dock, involving a week without power, resulted in persistently inadequate air conditioning throughout our voyage, including our stateroom. Despite our complaints, we were told to keep our drapes closed, negating the enjoyment of our balcony view.
Secondly, an ...
My wife and I have been on numerous cruises (30+) throughout the world on various cruise lines over the years. This was our seventh cruise with Oceania; the previous cruises were the Northeastern Seaboard, Bermuda, Cuba, India, the Middle East and Europe and Southern Africa cruises. The 13-day Focus of Japan Cruise started on April 1, 2025. This was our first Oceania cruise since COVID and ...
I did not have any expectations, but ended up with a personal view of all style and average substance. Yes, the ship is glamorous and beautifully appointed. So surroundings opulent.
One of the offerings is ship credits that we used for the onshore excursions and if you booked 6 there was a further discount. All the shore excursions were snapped up quickly. So naturally felt like we missed out. ...
Many staff are excellent onboard our ship and our room (Penthouse) was ample and well laid out.
That said, I think Oceania provides lower costs but that means a lower staffing level. There are simply not enough employees to provide for top notch attentiveness and service we have experienced on other cruise lines. For example the main dining room is often not open for lunch forcing guests to ...
Thank you for your feedback. Although, we are sorry to hear we missed an opportunity to make your experience even better with our destination tours and disembarkation, we are glad the staff...
We chartered the barge for our family, two parents, two adult children and two daughters in law. The trip vastly exceeded our expectations. The barge was very comfortable, the bedrooms and bathrooms large for a ship this size, and the crew was incredibly accommodating. We had two ladies who did the serving and housekeeping, Hannah and Meg. They could not do enough for us. They were extremely ...
The ship (The Grace) was clean and comfortable and the crew was very attentive. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were perfect. It was great to have two naturalists on board with only 16 passengers so it was easy to ask questions and learn about the islands and the wildlife. This was our second trip on the Grace and we enjoyed it both times. We went in the dry season (November) ...

Dear Guest,
Thank you so much for coming back aboard Grace—twice! We love hearing how each itinerary offered something unique, from the incredible snorkeling to the stunning birdlife on...
We had such high hopes about this cruise but came away disappointed. We would say it didn't measure up to competition (with like class cruise lines: Viking, Azamara, Windstar).
Overall appearance of ship was shabby. We sailed on the Marina in October 2023 and were told the ship was to be refurbished totally. THAT WAS A BOLD FACE LIE.
Food, above average but far from "finest cuisine at sea". ...
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience onboard Marina and that our staff didn’t meet the level of service we strive for. We will share this feedback with the...
The cabins are small(Ocean Wiew)and the ship is a little bit old.The etertainment was-better than expected. The tours was well organised but of course expensiv as always on cruises. We was dissapointed about the food.Sometimes the chicken was raw and food not so warm.Mostly good service but sometimes very lasy service at breakfast.
We started our cruice in Kobe and visited a lot of interesting ...
Our Cruise through the Galapagos Islands on Quasar's Evolution yacht was the best nature-oriented vacation we've ever taken. We especially enjoyed snorkeling with Seal Lions, small sharks and the marine turtles. We've never had an experience like that. The naturalist guides were all outstanding as was the cruise director and his team. I had an issue with osteoarthritis in my left knee which ...
